Our History
In June 2020, Hanwha Systems, a prominent South Korean aerospace and defense company, took a visionary step by establishing Hanwha Phasor. This move was realized through the acquisition of patented technology and associated assets from Phasor Solutions, a pioneering London-based company renowned for its advanced satellite communication technology, originally established in 2005.
Following the acquisition, Hanwha Phasor embarked on a journey of growth. Strategic investments were made to secure top-tier talent, thereby enhancing the existing team’s prowess. The focus shifted toward refining disciplines, reinforcing processes, and introducing new tools to advance the inherited technology. Evidencing our dedication to expansion and innovation, our headquarters was established in the heart of London, a secondary facility in Cambridge, and a far-field range and ground station took shape at the historic research site in Chelmsford, Essex, UK.
