This week Hanwha Phasor, a satellite communications company based in the UK and USA welcomed the Governor of Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, to its headquarters facility in London, UK. The meeting, which comes as Governor Youngkin attends Farnborough International Airshow, provided an opportunity for the business to showcase their advanced technological work in satellite communications.
The meeting saw the Governor and his team tour the London facility to see how the business tests and develops its land user terminal – the Phasor L3300 – and its antenna designed for commercial and military aviation – the Phasor A7700. During the visit, Hanwha Phasor discussed the role that the business could play in Virginia after it opened its first US facility in Virginia earlier this year.
Alongside its business development-focused office in the United States, Hanwha Phasor operates two facilities in the UK – its London office focuses on testing and development of its Phasor A7700 and Phasor L3300, whilst its Cambridge facility is the ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) Centre of Excellence office to provide the core computing power to the user terminals.
