This role is to work on integration of Hanwha-Phasor antennas with all modem and satellite types and with customer platforms for on the move operation. Working externally with satellite operators and customers for complex integration projects as well as guiding internal teams on antenna design requirements.

Technical responsibilities
- Work on satellite modem integration activity, including liaising closely with modem providers, satellite operators and internal hardware and software engineers.
- Work on integrating satellite terminals with customer platforms, liaising closely with customer engineers.
- Collaborate internally to ensure HPL terminal products will work well in each satellite system.
- Contribute to the creation and validation of user manuals, maintenance manuals and other applicable manuals for Hanwha Phasor antenna and user terminal.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring in areas of specialist expertise.
Organisational responsibilities
- Take responsibility for multi-disciplinary engineering projects and delivery to tight timescales, communicating through plans, presentations and written reports.
- Management of small engineering teams and subcontractors for design, analysis, and testing.
- Liaise with the business development team during pre-sales phase with customers.
Essential qualifications and skills
- Educated to degree level with 10+ years of experience in satellite communications
- Strong background in designing/sourcing/operating satellite terminals.
- Experience in leading small teams
Desirable
- Engineering degree.
- Experience with a wide variety of satellite terminals particularly COTM
- Experience with routers, Wi-fi, navigation systems
This role involves having access to information which is controlled under U.S. export regulations (EAR/ITAR). A separate check will need to be completed prior to employment offer.
